Collioure

On France's Mediterranean coast line, just short of the Spanish border, there's a little town called Collioure. Two promentories, with a castle on one and a church on the other, overlook the pebble beaches. There are some nice esplanades with restaurants that look out to sea.

The ocassional yacht cruises in.

Matisse is a favourite son and there are plenty tryng to emulate his fame. Bring your brush and easel.
