Luberon Hilltop Villages

Bonnieux is one of the many historic "hill villages" in the Luberon region. Dating back to Roman times, it rests on top of the Luberon hills. And it is a step back in time as you walk the cobble stones and pebbled streets of this and other nearby towns like Roussillon and Gordes.

And if you want to put some colour back in your life, don't miss the ochred walls of Roussillon. There's an open air market every Thursday morning.
